Ari Farkas is founder and managing partner of A. Farkas Attorneys at Law, and exclusively focuses on U.S. immigration and nationality law as it pertains to business and individuals both inside the U.S. and abroad. He counts amongst his clients C-level executives, international personalities, family offices, government officials, investors, financial institutions, scientists, consultants, start-up founders, as well internationally acclaimed artists, chefs and performers, and their families. All told, Ari has represented individuals and entities, both for profit and nonprofits from over 70 countries. Ari advises clients on business immigration matters as well as employment authorization compliance. Ari's practice also includes advice and due diligence reviews focused on immigration law issues in mergers, acquisitions, and/or restructuring transactions. Additionally, Ari has been appointed to the Board of Directors of both Multinational Companies and International Nonprofits, and heads up the firms Pro Bono efforts, which is a matter of great pride for the firm.

Dakota joined Checkwriters in 2013, where he worked in the Sales and Marketing departments and currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer. He is responsible for the company’s national brand and marketing, corporate communications, and hosts the Checkwriters Podcast. Previously, he worked in communications in the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. He lives with his wife and five children in Massachusetts.

Felicia Corbeil

Felicia joined Checkwriters in 2020, where she serves as the Human Resources Manager. Her particular areas of focus include hiring, benefits administration, and the development and implementation of company policies in conjunction with the Checkwriters Compliance Team. She is a member of both our ACA Team and ERC Team where she assists clients on the intricacies of those programs, requirements, and filings. Felicia holds a Masters in Business Administration and is based in Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband and three children.
