Meet The Speakers

Dakota Hebert

Dakota Hebert
Chief Marketing Officer, Checkwriters
Dakota joined Checkwriters in 2013, where he worked in the Sales and Marketing departments and currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer. He is responsible for the company’s national brand and marketing, corporate communications, and hosts the Checkwriters Podcast. Previously, he worked in communications in the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. He lives with his wife and five children in Massachusetts.

Felicia Corbeil

Human Resources Manager, Checkwriters
Felicia joined Checkwriters in 2020, where she serves as the Human Resources Manager. Her particular areas of focus include hiring, benefits administration, and the development and implementation of company policies in conjunction with the Checkwriters Compliance Team. She is a member of both our ACA Team and ERC Team where she assists clients on the intricacies of those programs, requirements, and filings. Felicia holds a Masters in Business Administration and is based in Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband and three children.

Michelle Theroux

Michelle Theroux

Michelle has over 25 years of successful experience in health services and not-for-profit organizations in Western Massachusetts. Past roles include Executive Director of Child & Family Service of Pioneer Valley, Director of Special Projects at Clinical and Support Options, Vice President of Clinical Services at the Center for Human Development, and the Director of Family Networks at the Key Program. Michelle has a master's degree in Counseling Psychology, holds a license in Mental Health Counseling, and a certificate in fundraising from Boston University. Board service is important to Michelle who currently sits on several area boards of directors and currently serves on the Trinity Health/Mercy Medical Center board of trustees, and is a past president for the board of the Women’s Fund of Western MA. Michelle was recognized for her community involvement and business leadership in the 2007 inaugural class of Business West's "Forty Under Forty" and also received that publication's Women of Impact Award.
